Luma works without collecting personal information. Here is exactly what happens on your device.
What Luma processes
Luma processes the image already open in your current browser tab to provide zooming, panning, rotation, local editing, annotation, resizing, copying, and export. Image pixels, image URLs, edits, and clipboard output remain on your device.
Settings
Luma stores preferences such as background, toolbar position, zoom speed, fit border, and whether the introductory hint has appeared. Chrome may synchronize some preferences through your Chrome profile. The developer does not receive or have access to them.
Data collection and sharing
Luma has no analytics, advertising, tracking, account system, backend, telemetry, or remote code. It does not sell, share, or transmit personal information, browsing history, website content, image content, or usage data.
Retention and deletion
Settings remain in Chrome extension storage until you change them, clear extension data, or uninstall Luma. Closing the editor discards its working canvas. Luma does not retain copies of exported images.
Permissions
Luma uses the storage permission only to save preferences. It runs on HTTP, HTTPS, and user-enabled local file pages so it can recognize an image opened directly in its own tab. It exits immediately on ordinary web pages and does not inspect or alter their content.
Changes and contact
If Luma’s data practices change, this policy and the extension disclosures will be updated before the change takes effect. Use the Support section of Luma’s Chrome Web Store listing for privacy questions or support requests.
